Steven Klimkiewicz is a teacher at Hellgate High School in Missoula. He uses his experience from working in the business world to teach his students about personal finance using real-life situations. “I’ve spent a ton of time and effort building lessons that help student understand the concepts of budgeting, insurance, credit scores, and taxes,” says Steven, “but I am eager to find out new methodologies that have worked in the classrooms of other teachers.” His courses include personal finance, advanced finance, 21st century career essentials, and economics, among others.
Steven is also one of this year’s winners of a scholarship to attend Jump$tart’s National Educator Conference. Thank you to our generous sponsors, which include Jump$tart and their national partners as well as the First Interstate Bank Foundation, for providing Montana teachers with this amazing opportunity.
