America Saves is a nationwide campaign that utilizes information, advice and encouragement to assist those who wish to pay down debt, build an emergency fund, save for a home, save for an education, or save for retirement.

Money Smart

Money Smart is a Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) training program to help adults outside the financial mainstream enhance their money skills and create positive banking relationships. A version of the program for 12 to 20 year-olds is also available.

MyMoney

MyMoney.gov aggregates financial information from 21 federal agencies, departments and bureaus. Users will be able to find information on planning for the financial impact of major life events and money management tools. National Institute of Food and Agriculture

NIFA supports increased economic opportunities and quality of life in rural areas. NIFA's Family Economics News newsletter contains research, resources for educators and consumers, and information on educational events and programs.

Retirement Made Simpler

A joint effort of AARP, FINRA, and the Retirement Security Project, Retirement Made Simpler is a website which provides information on automatic 401(k) plans. Automatic 401(k) plans automatically enroll employees, requiring them to opt-out rather than opt-in to the plan. Opt-in policies lead to low enrollment rates. Automatic 401(k) plans have been shown to dramatically increase plan participation, better preparing employees for retirement.

The website includes an overview of the plan’s benefits, directions for employers to establish plans, case studies, and more.
