April Is National Financial Literacy Awareness Month
National Financial Literacy Awareness month is under way. Check out our resource page for tips, curricula, and more that you can use in your activities.
We also encourage you to share any special activities you have planned in April to take advantage of increased attention to the need for financial literacy. We can post notices of upcoming events to the calendar section of our website, and we would love to share reports of the successes of your activities and events. New Credit Card Protections
The Federal Reserve Board launched a new interactive Web site to help consumers better understand the new credit card protections that took effect on February 22. These rules ban several harmful practices and require greater transparency in the disclosure of the terms and conditions of credit card accounts.
