The Commissioner of Securities and Insurance, CSI, promotes financial education and our Montana Extension Service has free financial education courses on line called Solid Finances. These courses are all taught by two very professional, organized people, Marsha Goetting and Joel Schumacher. Currently there are 29 one-hour classes offered, each course title is listed below. Take a course online 24/7, or register and participate in interactive lunchtime webinars. A sampling of past topics include: Saving Money by Paying Down Debt, Talking to Aging Parents about Finances, Get a Grip on Your Money, and Tax Savings Tools.
